How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners to gently shift teeth into place. Because aligners are custom-fitted for each patient, they’ll fit comfortably and closely over your teeth, applying constant, gentle pressure to move teeth up or down—or even rotate them if needed!
With the exception of mealtimes, brushing and flossing, you’ll wear your aligners twenty-four hours a day. Each week, you’ll receive a new set of aligners to keep teeth moving in the right direction.
How Long Will My Treatment Take?
Treatment time is different for everyone, and is based on your unique needs and goals; at your initial consultation, your doctor will work with you to determine your personalized treatment plan. For many patients, treatment with Invisalign is up to 50% faster than traditional metal braces.

We know that finding the right treatment option for each patient also means considering treatment cost. For Invisalign, the cost of treatment varies by patient, and depends on a few different factors, including the level or complexity of treatment needed, the length of treatment time and where you live. In the US, treatment typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000. Many dental insurance plans offer coverage for Invisalign, with some contributing up to $3,500 towards treatment costs. During your initial consultation, you can discuss treatment costs and payment options with your doctor.
